I hate when I really like an OC and someone’s IC posts. But then I talk to them OOC or see their OOC posts and really can’t stand them as a RL person. It makes me not want to RP with their OC, even though I know it’d be good for both OCs involved. Or when I find out someone mods an OC I like, but I dislike the person, I instantly hate that OC. I know it’s not fair but I can’t help it. It goes reversed too. Some people are the best OOC people ever, but their OC makes me hate them so much. Why!??!

Mod X: It is just a mindset we have as human beings. Sometimes we think that since a character or a person is a certain way then that person or character is also the same. It is something that people have to work with, to sorta…detach themselves if that would be the right wording of that action.
Mod X: So sorry about the lack of posts. Been really busy over the past week or so, but I will go ahead and start putting stuff up in queue again!
I can’t STAND child mercs. Mercs having children is more understandable, but no one under the age of 18 should even be in this war, and even then, only Scouts should be that young. I get that it’s your OC, and you’re free to do what you want with them, but it just makes no sense for anyone under 18 being in the war! Even in the time period, they wouldn’t hire anyone under 18 to fight! it REALLY makes me not want to RP with someone, when their merc is just a child

Mod Y: I have to agree with this. Children are not meant to be on the battlefield, no matter how talented they might be. Let’s be honest here, TF2 is a WAR setting it is no place for children. They should not be in the bases even. If they were in the town setting, then that’s fine, it’s far away from the bases themselves. But since we’ve seen a few popping on the field, it’s a nice remind that children do not belong on the war field.
It’s really discouraging to have people drop out of threats constantly. I play several different OCs on Tumblr, most of which people don’t know I mod. And I end up losing threads anyways. I know it’s not the OC since it happens to them all, it makes me feel like such a boring, unwanted RPer! It kills me to know without a doubt that I can’t compete with anyone else here. I watch as the same people who drop my threads continue other ones with better players. It’s discouraging and really upsetting.

Mod Y: There isn’t much that can be done if people drop out of threads. Perhaps it is missing a fun factor that they are seeking? We really can’t know, unless you talk to them and ask them if they are looking for something in particular, or losing interest?
I say keep working on it. Don’t be afraid to ask. Things will get better for you.
Mod X: Well then that is your opinion. But people do what they want in regards to roleplay. If it bothers you that much, then you don’t need to pay attention to them.
That is all. Thank you.
Mod Y: Again, like Mod X said, no one is forcing you to follow them or roleplay with them if hybrids bother you. People are free to do what they want in any universe they wish to roleplay in, I believe, so long as it keeps making sense as to why x or y hybrid exists.
Sorry about the lack of activity guys! Things got really busy on my end, will start queue-ing the submissions that we have so far.
Thanks for bearing with me
